미술가. 

세상의 가장자리에 흩뿌려진 말의 조각을 모아 형상을 만드는 것이 미술가의 역할이라고 생각한다. 불평등한 착취와 배제, 폭력의 현장, 재난참사 현장에서 이야기를 보고, 듣고, 기록하고 있다. 재난참사, 여성이주노동자, 국가폭력 피해자, 산재 사망자들의 삶과 이야기를 기록하고, 공공장소에 새기는 일을 하고 있다.

예술의 사회적 역할이라는 화두로 자본, 정치, 사회, 국가, 식민 등에 대한 문제들에 대해 관심을 가져왔으며 대다수의 예술프로젝트를 지역주민 또는 관객들의 참여와 협업으로 만들어왔다. 예술을 통해 사회적 문제를 비판적으로 해부하고자 다양한 예술적 방법론으로 프로젝트를 실행해왔다.

주요 프로젝트들은 공공장소에 행해지는 설치미술과 일시적 설치 등으로 다양한 공간성을 활용한 작품들로 이루어져있다. 현재 베를린과 한국에서 활동하고 있으며 한국 언론매체등에 글을 기고하고 있다.

Kwon, Eunbi, Born in Seoul, she lives in Berlin and in Seoul. An artist on the street contemplating the history of the city. Triggered by the importance of the role of art in society, she deals with various issues from capital, politics, society, to nation state. Most of her works are participatory and collaborative projects with the local residents and the audience. She applies various methodologies to analyze social issues critically through art. Major projects include installation art in a public space and temporary installation art by using a variety of mediums. She works in Berlin and writes articles for Korean media.

Eunbi Kwon, geboren in Seoul, in Südkorea, lebt in Berlin. Seit 2011 arbeitet sie als Künstlerin, besonders im Bereich Kunst im öffentlichen Raum und partizipatorische Kunst. Sie beschäftigt sich mit verschiedenen Themen: das System in der kapitalistischen Gesellschaft, die Rolle der Kunst in der Gesellschaft, die Nationalität in der Globalisierung. Neben künstlerischer Tätigkeit wirkt seit 2013 als Korrespondentin.
